What Is The Definition of A Strong Pound?

In this post I’d like to answer the question: what is the definition a strong pound?

A strong pound is this:

When you exchange the pound for more foreign currency than you could before.

For instance, the pound might be at 1.15 against the euro today.

However, if the pound was at 1.10 yesterday, that means the pound is stronger today.

You'll therefore receive more euros, when you exchange your pounds.
